• Design and develop data pipelines. Architect, build and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines to process and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data
  
  
• Integrate diverse data sources, including databases, APIs, cloud services, and third-party platforms to create a seamless and unified data ecosystem
  
  
• Design, implement, and optimise database systems (SQL, NoSQL) for efficient data storage, retrieval, and management
  
  
• Leverage data warehouse technologies to optimise storage and retrieval, enhancing reporting and analytics capabilities
  
  
• Ensure data integrity through quality checks, validation procedures and monitoring systems, maintaining accuracy and consistency across all data processes
  
  
• Optimise performance by continuously refining data pipelines, queries, and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce processing times
  
  
• Leverage cloud platforms (such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) to build scalable, costeffective storage and data processing solutions that support dynamic business needs
  
  
• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention
  
  
• Document processes and systems comprehensively to ensure seamless data pipeline management and troubleshooting 

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or relevant roles
  
  
• Czech and English at a communicative level
  
  
• Proficiency in Python – writing modular, testable and production-grade code
  
  
• Advanced in SQL – performance tuning, complex joins, window functions and CTEs
  
  
• Experience with designing scalable data models for analytics and operational use cases
  
  
• Experience with industry-leading tools like ADF Airflow, dbt, Luigi, and Prefect
  
  
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps practices)
  
  
• Strong knowledge of distributed processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Flink, Beam)
  
  
• Strong communication skills – ability to effectively communicate complex system designs to non-technical stakeholders
