Photon Energy Group Receives ‘Very Good’ Rating from Sustainability Rating Agency imug | rating

  • imug | rating has assessed the Company’s sustainability performance as ‘very good’ with 75 out of 100 points in the areas of sustainability management, its products and services and controversies.
  • The rating was carried out on the basis of publicly available information, media reports, external expert opinions, interviews with the Company and studies.
  • The Company released its first sustainability report in March 2021, formally expressing its commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes.

Amsterdam – 2 June 2021 – Photon Energy N.V. (WSE&PSE: PEN, FSX: A1T9KW) (‘Photon Energy Group’ or the ‘Company’), an Amsterdam-based renewable energy company delivering solar energy and clean water solutions around the world, has received its first sustainability rating, being awarded a rating of ‘very good with 75 out of 100 points by imug | rating, an independent institution that assessed the Company’s policies and activities in the area of sustainability. imug’s ratings are attributed based on the following scale: weak, moderate, good, very good, excellent.

imug | rating is one of the leading sustainability rating agencies in Germany and a specialist in environmental, social and governance (ESG) research. imug | rating has been active in the fields of sustainable finance and socially responsible investment (SRI) for over 20 years. Its references include major asset managers and alternative banks as well as institutional investors and NGOs.

In 2020, Photon Energy Group laid the foundations for strategic management, controlling and reporting practices that are fully geared towards sustainability. It released its first annual sustainability report in March 2021, formally expressesing the Company’s commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes.
