The photovoltaic installations are being deployed at the indoor swimming pool at Štěpánka (99 kWp), and two primary schools (99 kWp and 36 kWp). The generated electricity will be used directly within these buildings, while a smart energy-sharing system will allow surplus power to be distributed to other municipal facilities.
Jilemnického Primary School in Mladá Boleslav is one of the city’s buildings that will soon be powered by clean solar energy from a new Photon Energy installation.
The technology used includes Yingli solar modules, Solax inverters and TIGO optimizers, which enhance system efficiency and ensure rapid shutdown safety functionality. Photon Energy’s installations are designed and executed to meet all technical and safety standards, including the latest Czech fire safety regulations for photovoltaic systems. The company follows the principles of the “Quality Benchmark” of the Czech Solar Association, which defines best practices for high-quality design, installation and maintenance of solar systems.
Installation of solar panels has also begun on the roof of the city’s indoor swimming pool.
Photon Energy delivers solar and battery storage solutions for municipalities and industrial and commercial clients. The company also develops utility-scale power plants and is the largest provider of operation and maintenance (O&M) services for photovoltaic systems in Central and Eastern Europe.
Handover of the installations to the client is planned by the end of November 2025.
