In October 2008, Georg Hotar (currently the Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chairman of the Management Board) and Michael Gartner (Currently the Chief Technology Officer and Chairman of the Management Board) established Photon Energy a.s., a joint-stock company based in the Czech Republic with the vision that solar power will become one of the society’s important resources in a world of increasing need for clean and affordable electricity, decreasing dependence on fossil fuels, drive for elimination of air pollution, and towards energy independence.

We believe that Photon Energy’s vision of bringing the solar to the people is helping to share the better future through commercialisation of groundbreaking technologies that address significant needs in the global markets.
