Photon Finance s.r.o. provides financing and insurance solutions for PV investors including:

• Full scope PV investment consultation
• Arrangement of loan, current account facilities and insurance packages
• Customized services and other financial products

Project financing

We provide comprehensive financial advisory for the whole project preparation and realization phase. Our value added comes from long-term experience in banking, project management and in-depth knowledge of PV project financing conditions.

We closely communicate with the financing bank and provide all cash-flow calculations and documentation for the loan offer. Risk management is consulted with our partner Allianz Insurance Company that prepares an integrated insurance model for all financing phases. We structure the project financing into an investment loan for capital expenses, operating credit for VAT and an import letter of credit.

We provide full support for processing the credit documentation in line with bank requirements in several phases:

1. Project pre-scoring phase – an indicative offer is sought
2. Approval process phase – processing of credit documentation with the bank’s renewable resources team
3. Approval phase – preparation of the final documents
4. PV plant operating phase – possible changes in cash-flow based on real performance and close cooperation with Photon Management s.r.o.

Project Insurance

We cooperate with Allianz Insurance Company on an exclusive basis and are an insurance broker holder (No. 088778VPA, granted by ČNB). We prepare attractive insurance offers for our clients for all phases of their PV plant construction and operation. Contracts are tailor-made and linked to conditions of the financing bank. Clients are entitled to a 40% fee discount and a bonus program for the next project.

The services are provided as either a package or individually and involve insurance of:

1. Technology transport with Incoterms parity
2. EPC contractor performance risks
3. Stocks taken over from the investor by the EPC contractor
4. Warehousing of the technology during construction
5. Transport from the warehouse to the PV plant site
6. Operational indemnity of the subcontracting companies
7. PV plant itself, movables, natural disasters, vandalism, theft risks related to electronic devices, liability related to PV plant operation etc.

Project Due Diligence

TÜV SÜD is a major contractor for the Photon Energy group in the field of expert services in the segment of solar power. Tüv Süd provides a wide range of activities including technical due diligence, processing inspection reports, verification of correct utilization of financial resources, etc. In order to achieve maximum effect, all operations are conducted in accordance with the instructions of financing  institutions and insurance company.
