13.3.2018

Photon Energy published its monthly investor report for February 2018. Apart from closing the deal with Canadian Solar and doubling the company’s PV project portfolio in Hungary, both already reported in the report from January 2018, the company announces electricity outperformance, corporate EUR bond repayment and a commitment to a seed fund in Poland.

Thanks to the sunny weather in February the proprietary power plants in the Czech portfolio produced 50% more electricity than expected, yet the average outperformance for the company’s global portfolio is reported at 26.6%.

After the reporting period, on 12 March 2018 Photon Energy NV repaid the outstanding nominal of EUR 6.553 million of its 8% EUR corporate bond 2013/18 at the end of the five-year term in accordance with the bond conditions. The follow-on 5-year 7.75% EUR corporate bond 2017/22 can still be subscribed to via the company’s website.

Moreover, Photon Energy announced that it has committed to invest up to PLN 4.8 million (EUR 1.085 million, CZK 29.342 million) as the 80% lead investor in the ValueTech Seed Fund (the “Fund”) managed by Valuetech Seed Sp. z o.o. based in Wroclaw, Poland.
